Sydney influencer jailed after sexually assaulting teenage boy

A social media influencer has been jailed for three years after sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy twice in one night and telling him not to tell his father.

The 46-year-old woman, from Sydney’s east and who cannot be identified, was found guilty of two counts of aggravated sexual intercourse with a child under 16 following a trial in October last year.

A jury found that she climbed into bed with a 14-year-old boy one evening in mid-2021 and kissed him.

The woman told her victim not to talk about her actions before having oral and penetrative sex with him.

“Don’t tell your father about this,” she told the boy.

On Friday, the influencer wore prison greens as she appeared in the NSW District Court via audiovisual link to learn her fate for sexually assaulting the teenager more than two years ago.

She held back tears as she waved to her family and friends, who filled the courtroom with resigned expressions.

Judge Sarah Hopkins sentenced her to three years behind bars, with a non-parole period of 18 months. It is understood she will serve her time in protective custody.

She will be eligible for release on February 26, 2025.

The court heard the 46-year-old admitted kissing her 14-year-old victim but continues to deny any sexual activity took place.

The jury did not accept her version of events. They found the influencer guilty of performing oral sex on the teen before having vaginal sex with him in three different positions.

Just hours before she sexually assaulted the teen, the influencer was filmed performing a “sexually suggestive” dance for him.

In the video shown to the court, she can be seen rubbing her butt, lifting her shirt to reveal her stomach and twerking in front of the victim.

Judge Hopkins said the 46-year-old appeared ‘very drunk’ in the video.

A year after the rape, the influencer laughingly admitted that she was attracted to the teenager in an overheard telephone conversation.

“I started to love you so much that I felt confused, like I started to feel attracted to you,” she told him.

‘You’re a man now. You’re not a boy, you’re clearly a man.’

When the victim told his mother about the assault a year later, she said he “burst into complete tears.”

“I’ve never seen him cry like that,” she said.

“It was really bad.”
