The Fitness Playground gym has undergone a radical transformation, as it changes its name to ‘One Playground’, and has even cut through, one of its most popular venues undergoing an impressive renovation.
The cult-favorite gym has taken a new approach to its branding and membership to create a fun and accessible space for gym-goers.
With Aussies spending between $35 and $100 a week on memberships, the new comprehensive fitness, lifestyle and wellness membership is just $28.95 a week.
Founded by Sydney entrepreneur Justin Ashley, the brand started as a small boot camp in 2011 and over the years has grown into an influential gym with a cult following.
Last year it was also voted ‘Best Boutique Gym’ in the world at the Fit Summit Awards in Singapore.

The latest development offerings are a far cry from typical gyms, with the Newtown location having undergone a drastic multi-million dollar redevelopment and will open to the public on March 4.
It features an attractive blue and white ‘training in the clouds’ theme, mirrored ceilings, grand columns and LED lights illuminating the 40m running track.
The impressive space also gets a DJ boost above the gym floor and is synced with a lighting grid that pulsates to the beat of each song, giving off a nightclub vibe.
Furthermore, the low cost of weekly membership is a big point of difference compared to other gyms that will probably pique the interest of many.

According to the Global Wellness Institute, Australians are health conscious and spend nearly $100 a week on wellness, often with multiple memberships.
Fitness Playgrounds CEO and co-founder Justin Ashley says the name change to One Playground was a “logical evolution”, aligning with the brand expanding its offerings beyond fitness to include wellness and then the concept behind it. encompasses everything.
