A man who died in a horrific three-car accident has been identified as a father of six.

Nour Marbany, 35, was a passenger in a Holden Commodore traveling on Hawksview St in Merrylands, western Sydney around 5pm on Saturday.

The Commodore collided with a reversing Hyundai i30, then rolled over and struck an unoccupied parked HiLux ute.

Despite the best efforts of NSW Ambulance paramedics, Mr Marbany died at the scene.

His wife Rema Zreika paid a touching tribute to her late husband on social media, citing an Arabic phrase from the Koran.

You broke me into a million pieces. Inshallah [If God wills] I can be strong enough to raise your 6 kids,” she wrote on Facebook.

“Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Allah we shall return.”

Family and friends were quick to offer their support to the heartbroken family.

“May Allah give you and your beautiful children the strength and patience to get through this difficult time,” one commented.

“Sorry to hear Rema,” said another.

‘May Allah ease the pain in your hearts, grant him Jannah [paradise] and have pity on him and your family.’

Neighbors have called for action to prevent another tragedy in the area, where accidents have become commonplace.

Hawksview Street resident Jemma Achi said there was an accident on the street “every six weeks.”

“Unfortunately someone had to lose their life [Saturday] night,” she told the Daily telegram.

“If there’s an accident, all the neighbors get together and we all run out.”

Neighbor Tommy Naati said another resident was backing out of the driveway into the road when the car Mr Marbany was in crashed into it.

“There have been so many accidents here,” he said.

‘That’s why I don’t park my car on the street, but in the back. People are always running fast down the street.’

Ms Achi and Mr Naati want the collisions investigated and said speed bumps or other safety measures should be installed to prevent more tragedies.

The 23-year-old driver of the Holden was taken to Westmead Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.

The driver of the Hyundai, a 37-year-old man, was not injured and underwent mandatory testing at Westmead Hospital.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
