Millions of dollars worth of cocaine bearing the image of Al Pacino’s fictional drug lord Tony Montana has been found following a major raid in Sydney’s west, police claim.
According to NSW Police, 15 kilos of cocaine, worth an estimated $22 million on the street, was reportedly seized from homes in Dulwich Hill and Drumoyne on Friday, with one man taken into custody and facing serious drug supply charges.
The episode unfolded after detectives from the Organized Crime Squad approached a property on The Parade, Dulwich Hill.
As officers approached the property, a man taking a bag from the boot of a car tried to run away but was arrested nearby.
In the bag, police claim to have found a 1kg block of cocaine bearing the image of Pacino’s Tony Montana character from the cult film Scarface.

The 22-year-old man was arrested and taken to Ashfield police station before police later raided another property on Alexandra Street, Drummoyne.
NSW Police allege a further 14kg of cocaine was found in the garage of the house.
Police estimate that the seized drugs have a street value of more than $22 million.
Three cars, an Audi RS3 and two Nissan Silvias, were also seized.
The man was twice charged with supplying a large commercial quantity of a banned drug and was denied bail to appear in court on Saturday.
In the 1983 film, Al Pacino plays a Cuban immigrant who brutally and violently rises to the top of the Miami drug scene.
Organized crime commander Detective Peter Faux said the arrest should serve as a warning to Sydney’s underworld.
“This arrest and seizure means a significant amount of illicit drug is now off the streets of Sydney,” Det Supt Faux said.
“The arrest demonstrates the successful and effective combination of state-of-the-art technology and the dogged investigative work of my team.
“It also serves as a warning to those seeking to traffic illegal drugs into the community: NSW Police are committed to identifying and arresting those involved in illegal activities and bringing them to justice.”
