Sex predator boss who raped girl, 18, on her first day at work learns his fate in court – as horrific details emerge about the cleaning company’s ‘office party’

A cleaning company boss who raped a teenage employee on her first day at work after giving her alcohol at an ‘office party’ has been jailed.

The shocking details can be revealed after the man, who cannot legally be identified, was found guilty of raping the young migrant worker, 18.

The court heard the teenager worked a three-hour trial shift on Friday at a cleaning company the man owned in Sydney’s inner west.

She started work three days later, on Monday, and was called to the “party” that afternoon.

‘There are more drinks in the fridge. We’re going to enjoy the night. We don’t let anyone go before 10 p.m.,” the boss told the staff. news.com.au reported.

The court heard he asked the new employee several times why she didn’t drink.

The teenager told her boss that she did not drink often, she only had an apple for breakfast and weighed only 51 kg.

She was then encouraged to drink whiskey and tequila shots with the group.

The teen later became ill and vomited from drinking alcohol, which was witnessed by the boss.

The court heard he then led the teenager back to his office, took off her clothes and raped her.

The court heard the teenager’s older sister called her several times during the rape.

The man picked up the phone and… hung up before continuing to rape the teen.

‘There was nothing to suggest that she would have consented or was willing to consent in the circumstances he found himself in [significantly] older than her,” Judge Michael King of the NSW District Court said.

“She was a brand new employee and [it was] in circumstances where she had only worked in the company for one day.’

Judge King pointed out that since the boss saw his victim vomit, he would have known she was heavily intoxicated.

“The suspect was aware that she was significantly under the influence of alcohol and did not consent to the sexual intercourse,” he said.

“She basically became frozen and unable to move and was unaware of what was happening.”

The court also heard that while the man raped the teenager, he kept asking her if she had a boyfriend and if she liked him.

After the rape, the teenager succeeded and walked to the nearest train station, where her sister eventually found her.

“Her sister said she was crying, her hair was a mess and her clothes weren’t on properly,” Judge King said.

The teen called her boss and asked, “Why did you do this to me?” I can’t work tomorrow. How do I get to work there? Have you done this to me yet?’.

But the man denied any wrongdoing and the teenager reported the rape to the police.

The cleaning boss was charged with two counts of sexual intercourse without consent and one count of sexually touching another person without consent.

Judge King Court The court still did not understand the man’s offense and continued to deny that his actions were committed without mutual consent.

The man was sentenced to five and a half years in prison.

He must serve two years and nine months before being eligible for parole in June 2027.

The Nepalese man arrived in Australia in July 2019 so he could join his wife, who had moved to Australia four months earlier.

He will likely be deported once his sentence is completed.
