A professional cleaner has amazed thousands of people with her trick of melting grease and grime on hood filters like “magic.”
Gabriel van King’s Cleaning Co in Sydney dipped the cooker’s mesh filters into a sink of hot water Tricleanium concentrated cleaner.
She held the filter in the water for just ten seconds, and when she lifted it out, it looked like new without scrubbing or wiping.
After removing the grease-caked filters from the hood, Gabby sprinkled Tricleanium at the bottom of her sink and filled it with steaming hot water.
The vacuum cleaner simply dips the filters into the water and counts to ten before lifting them out to see how much dirt has been removed.

To clean the rest of the filters, she wipes off the dirt with the water in the sink and a sponge.
“You can smell all the fish coming off, all the bacon, all the sausages,” she said as the water in the sink began to turn brown.
Gabby warned against soaking the filters in the solution as it could damage them.

Gabby added that those using Tricleanium should be sure to rinse off all the product afterwards, as it can start to oxidize and destroy the filters.

Gabby shared the hack in two TikTok videos that generated over 2.7 million views and amazed viewers.

Others pointed it out Tricleanium can be used on ovens, floors and walls, with some sharing their own hacks for cleaning range hood filters.
“Just put them in the dishwasher (if you have one). They come out perfectly clean with no scrubbing,” one wrote.
“I just use Vanish, it works the same,” a second replied.
‘Just spray it with oven clean, let it sit as long as you like, just rinse with hot water – Eh voila! No scrubbing,” added another.
