Sydney doctor charged over alleged sexual assaults of two female patients at Arncliffe medical centre

A doctor has been charged over alleged sexual assault on two patients at a Sydney medical centre.

Police suspect that a 28-year-old woman was sexually assaulted during a consultation at a medical centre in Arncliffe on June 4.

On June 26, a 19-year-old woman was sexually assaulted during a consultation at the same medical center.

Police were alerted and officers from St George Police Area Command launched an investigation.

Doctor Ahmed Al-Sudan, 45, from Monterey in Sydney’s south, was arrested at the medical clinic on Friday and taken to St George’s police station following a police investigation.

He was accused of touching another person without consent and having sexual intercourse without consent.

He was refused bail and will appear in Sutherland District Court today.

The police investigation is still ongoing.
