According to Swiss media, Murat Yakin’s team have nothing to fear when they face England in the quarter-finals of Euro 2024 on Saturday.
England had been unconvincing throughout the tournament but reached the last eight after coming from behind to beat Slovakia 2-1 after extra time.
The Three Lions will now face Switzerland, who defeated title holders Italy 2-0.
LookSwitzerland’s largest newspaper, believes Gareth Southgate’s team do not pose a major threat.
The publication referred to the ‘shaky state’ of England.

Additionally, Blick commented on England’s lack of goals at Euro 2024 so far – they have only scored four goals in as many games.
The last competitive meeting between the two countries came in the 2019 Nations League third-place play-off, when England won on penalties with goalkeeper Jordan Pickford among the scorers in the shootout.
In total, England have won 19, drawn five and lost three of their matches against Switzerland.

Switzerland finished second in Group A of this summer’s tournament, with five points from three games.
England meanwhile also collected five points in the group stage and finished top of Group C.
Yet England’s performances at Euro 2024 have often been disappointing.
