Three brazen thieves stole $300,000 in cash from a Brink’s vehicle during a cash drop at a Brooklyn bank.

The armored truck was in front of a Chase Bank in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, when the three robbers seized the opportunity and stole the large sum of cash around 1 p.m.

Two of the men involved in the heist allegedly began talking to a Brink employee to distract them and ask for directions, while the other pulled out a bag that was left unattended on the truck’s bumper.

He then fled on foot from 5423 Eighth Ave, according to police.

Cops are now trying to find the trio, including the man who grabbed the cash (yellow ring) and ran while the others distracted the driver.

The holdup happened on January 6 and police are now trying to track down the men, especially the one who got away with the bag, seen on CCTV.

The man who removed the bag was described as having a fair complexion and a slim build. He was wearing a black winter hat, a black hooded jacket, and black sneakers with gray pants.

The two men who distracted the worker were of medium build and complexion.

The NYPD said: “While the employee was distracted, another unknown individual quickly removed a bag that was left unattended on the bumper of Brink’s armored truck and fled the scene on foot.

‘They just distracted him while talking to him. It was a crime of opportunity. Someone saw an opportunity.

Brink’s said in a statement: “We can confirm that there was an incident involving a Brink’s crew in Brooklyn on Friday and we are working with law enforcement.”

“At this time, we have no further information to share.”
