Olympian Grant Hackett is ready to be a father again.
The Australian swimming legend, 42, announced that he and his wife Sharlene are expecting a daughter in August.
The girl will be the sister of three-year-old Edward, whom the couple shares, and 15-year-old twins Jagger and Charlize, from Grant’s first marriage to singer Candice Alley.

‘Girl who comes in August. I can not wait to meet you. We are so excited,” Grant and Sharlene said in a joint post Sunday.
The gold medalist and his family live in the exclusive Melbourne suburb of Brighton after moving from his native Gold Coast last year.
Grant and Sharlene shocked fans when they announced that they had tied the knot in a secret, intimate ceremony in Melbourne in December 2020.
In a gushing tribute to his bride, Grant said he couldn’t wait to get married any longer, even though the pandemic ensured the wedding was smaller than the couple expected.
The gold medalist and his family live in the posh Melbourne suburb of Brighton after moving from his native Gold Coast last year.
He wrote at length: ‘I feel so blessed to call you my beautiful wife @sharhackett. With a year that has been filled with so much uncertainty, it has been a perfect way to end 2020.
“With COVID-19 continuing to delay our nuptials and the ability to properly plan our wedding, with all of our friends and family in one place, both locally and abroad, Sharlene and I just wanted to say ‘I do!’
The former athlete added a tribute to the couple’s son, Edward Anthony Hackett.

In July 2019, Grant announced that he and his then-girlfriend were expecting a baby, in an interview with The Sunday Telegraph.
“I felt like I was going to hit 40 and I wanted another chance as a father,” he said.

Sharlene met Grant on the Gold Coast in 2015 and they began dating in August 2018.
The athlete has described his relationship with Sharlene as “incredible” and has said that the dessert chef is a good influence on him.
