The 62-year-old stand-up comedian, who likes to call herself Suzy but doesn’t mind being addressed by her birth name Eddi, looked beautiful in her casual outfit.

Suzy channeled her inner Daisy Dukes in a tiny pair of hot pants as she enjoyed a ride around town in the sunshine.

The Daisy Duke short films are named after Daisy Duke, played by Catherine Bach, a character from the popular TV series Dukes Of Hazzard, which aired from 1979 to 1985.

Suzy paired her short shorts with a deep pink jacket and completed her look with stylish sunglasses and a touch of pink lipstick.

Her outing comes after she revealed she would be “very happy to have children” and admitted she is open to falling in love with a woman again.

Suzy, who often keeps her love life quite private, recently said that she has always preferred women over men. Her last known relationship was with singer Sarah Townsend.

She spoke to Gyles Brandreth about the Rosebud podcast and said, “I would be thrilled to have children. But right now, there isn’t one. Never say never.”

She added: “I’m trans, but I’m attracted to women. I’ve always been into women, never guys or men. That just doesn’t work for me.’

Discussing her love life and hopes for the future, Suzy admitted that she is not actively looking for love at the moment as she is ‘happy’ in her own company.

She revealed: ‘I don’t get into many relationships. It’s hard – getting into relationships when you’re a trans person will be hard, but I’m very happy with my own company.’

‘I’m very happy in the position I’m in now, so I’m not looking. If someone comes along and we get along really well, then absolutely.”

She continued, “But I don’t actively go to discos.

She also discussed what kind of partner she wants in life: “It should be an intelligent person, who can talk well, has a good sense of humor and is attractive.”

It comes after the comedian candidly discussed the complexities of dating as a transgender woman.

She told Ny Breaking’s Richard Eden: ‘I would love to date but it’s complicated because I’m a trans woman. It will have to be a very confident and determined woman who is in a relationship with me.’

Suzy previously had a long-term relationship with singer, director and producer Sarah.

The couple met in 1989 at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival through a mutual friend and Sarah also directed the 2009 documentary Believe: The Eddie Izzard Story.

At one point it was rumored that she was Suzy’s wife from 1999 until they split in 2002.

The couple reportedly remained good friends even after their divorce.

According to previous reports, the entertainer was also said to have been in a relationship with Susie Church, who tragically passed away in 2016.
