Susanna Reid ‘ storms off the set of GMB as she lashes out at the staff over a series of embarrassing mistakes’

Susanna Reid is said to have walked off the set of Good Morning Britain this week after a series of fights with the show’s production team.

The broadcaster, 52, allegedly “made her feelings very clear” as she reportedly “angrily yelled” at the production staff after they made a series of mistakes.

Misspellings, incorrect dates, and incorrect graphic designs have slipped through the show’s live broadcasts in recent weeks, leaving the host reportedly embarrassed.

Among the errors was an incident in which news correspondent Ben Chapman’s name was misspelled during his live broadcast from Romania.

As Ranvir Singh introduced the segment, he introduced Ben for his section, with his name appearing on screen as ‘Ben Champan’.

‘She made her feelings very clear’: Susanna Reid, 52, has reportedly walked off the set of Good Morning Britain because she is said to have gone on a rampage with the staff over a series of embarrassing mistakes.

While in another incident, GMB aired a segment paying tribute to the death of a celebrity, with the word ‘remember’ also misspelled on the screen, as the graphic read: ‘Remember’.

And that was not all, as the wrong date appeared while Susanna was hosting the show one morning.

A source reportedly told him Sun: ‘She [Susanna] she made her feelings very clear, angrily yelling that the mistakes made her and the entire show look stupid, as she stormed off camera and confronted the production staff.

“Susanna is totally professional and just wants high standards, just like Piers [Morgan] or any other presenter would have. The last thing anyone wants is for her to walk away angry.”

The broadcaster previously hosted the show alongside Piers Morgan, before his departure in 2021.

And since then, she’s been joined by a collection of co-hosts, including Richard Madeley and Robert Rinder.

Susanna doesn’t appear to be the only one aggravated by the mistakes, as some viewers took to Twitter during live morning shows to call out GMB for their mistakes.

Calling up a poster they had made for rugby player Levi Simeon Davis, who went missing in October 2022, many noted that the graphic seemed to say the wrong year.

A source reportedly told The Sun: “She [Susanna] she made her feelings very clear, angrily yelling that the mistakes made her and the entire show look stupid, as she stormed out of the camera and confronted the production staff.

Oops: Among the errors was an incident where news correspondent Ben Chapman’s name was misspelled during his live broadcast from Romania.

“@gmb your poster for Levi’s disappearance has the wrong date, it says October 2023,” he wrote in the viewer.

While another advised: “Your poster shown on the news this morning for the missing man is incorrect, please check the date it is displayed, October 2023 #GMB.”

Good Morning Britain also ran into trouble last week, but this time it was a verbal error by the presenter Richard, rather than a typo.

The presenter apologized for having confused Sam Smith, who uses the pronouns they/they.

Fatal mistake: While another incident saw GMB air a segment paying tribute to the death of a celebrity, with the word “remember” also misspelled on screen, as the graphic read: “Remember”

Get noticed: Susanna doesn’t seem to be the only one aggravated by the bugs, as some viewers took to Twitter during live morning shows to call out GMB for their mistakes.

Richard had been debating whether or not Sam’s latest music video for I’m Not Here To Make Friends is too sexualized when the slip-up occurred, where he accidentally referred to them as “he”.

Co-host Susanna was quick to correct her mistake, and Richard later apologized.

And while a panel was discussing the video, Richard told guest Shivani Dave that they ‘were right’ and informed him that they also use they/them pronouns.

Richard apologized a second time, saying: ‘I’m so sorry. I will learn to do that.

Shivani later tweeted: “I’ve been getting messages from people who are worried I’ve been misled by Richard Madley on @GMB.”

I corrected it, he apologized and took it into account. A masterclass in how to do things if you screw up, we shared a thumbs up and I told him his hair looks great.

Sorry: Good Morning Britain also got into trouble last week when presenter Richard Madeley apologized for confusing Sam Smith, who uses the they/them pronouns.

Wrong: Richard had been debating whether Sam’s latest music video for I’m Not Here To Make Friends is too sexual when the slip-up occurred, where he accidentally referred to them as “him.”
