Susanna Reid has claimed that she doesn’t need a partner because she is “perfectly happy” with her own company.

The Good Morning Britain presenter, 52, was last known to be in a relationship with Crystal Palace FC chairman Steve Parish, 57, whom she began dating in August 2018 before their split nine months later.

Detailing her daily routine, Susanna wrote in The Sunday Times Magazine: ‘My mornings are intense with the adrenaline rush of live news, so switching off is hard.

“I’m perfectly happy with my own company: I talk to people all day, I have a great team, and I love my close-knit family, but I don’t need a partner. When the kids leave home, I know it will be a challenge.

She offered a rundown of what an average day looks like, beginning with a 3:40 a.m. wake-up call from her alarm clock.

Susanna revealed that she takes five minutes in bed to review her emails and the day’s headlines before getting up to start her day.

The mother-of-three said the start of her day is quite rushed, as she throws on a coat over her pajamas and brushes her teeth before getting into the car, which has been sent to take her to the studio.

Time in the car is put to great use, catching up on newspapers and interviewee reports due on the show that day.

Susanna also takes the time to review the stories that the investigators and producers have been putting together overnight.

He explained that the most important document he reviews on the trip is what is known as the Grid, which provides key times and points for the program.
