Susanna Reid has claimed that she doesn’t need a partner because she is “perfectly happy” with her own company.
The Good Morning Britain presenter, 52, was last known to be in a relationship with Crystal Palace FC chairman Steve Parish, 57, whom she began dating in August 2018 before their split nine months later.
His previous partner was sports journalist Dominic Cotton, 55, with whom he was between 1998 and 2014; They share sons Sam, 20, Finn, 18, and Jack, 17.
Detailing her daily routine, Susanna wrote in The Sunday Times Magazine: ‘My mornings are intense with the adrenaline rush of live news, so switching off is hard.
“I’m perfectly happy with my own company: I talk to people all day, I have a great team, and I love my close-knit family, but I don’t need a partner. When the kids leave home, I know it will be a challenge.

In her article, Susanna admitted that there’s a lot going on behind the scenes before viewers see her show up at the box at 6am.
She offered a rundown of what an average day looks like, beginning with a 3:40 a.m. wake-up call from her alarm clock.
Susanna revealed that she takes five minutes in bed to review her emails and the day’s headlines before getting up to start her day.
The mother-of-three said the start of her day is quite rushed, as she throws on a coat over her pajamas and brushes her teeth before getting into the car, which has been sent to take her to the studio.
Time in the car is put to great use, catching up on newspapers and interviewee reports due on the show that day.
Susanna also takes the time to review the stories that the investigators and producers have been putting together overnight.
He explained that the most important document he reviews on the trip is what is known as the Grid, which provides key times and points for the program.

Susanna admitted that it’s “a lot” to take in during the 25-minute drive from her home to the studio at the London Television Center in west London.
Once in the studio, Susanna sits down to have her hair and makeup done by a professional, while she drinks her first coffee of the day at 4:25.
She said that during this time she also continues to catch up on any reading for the show.
Susanna added that she will then be joined by the show’s nightly editor, as well as her co-host for that particular day.
His co-stars are Richard Madeley, Ed Balls, Rob Rinder, Martin Lewis, Ben Shephard and Adil Ray.

Susanna doesn’t manage to eat before the show, but revealed that she tries to sneak in some sliced apple and sunflower seed butter during commercials.
Once the cameras stop rolling, Susanna heads home and tries to get a couple of hours of sleep before getting up for lunch.
She said she tries to have a healthy option like grilled fish and vegetables.
In the evening, Susanna relaxes by cooking a home-cooked meal for her children, which she says is usually something like lasagna or a roast.
This time, however, it’s not for complete relaxation, as he normally receives new reports and catches up with his editor on the next day’s schedule.
Susanna said she ends her day by watching a little TV, “nothing scary” and enjoys taking a bath to relax before lights out at 10 p.m.
