Susanna Reid reunites with Ukrainian youngster, 8, who went viral for singing in a bunker
Susanna Reid met an eight-year-old Ukrainian girl named Amelia Anisovych during Good Morning Britain’s two-hour Christmas special.
The presenter, 52, first met Amelia in April after she went viral for singing a song from Disney’s Frozen in a bunker, prompting the journalist to travel to the Ukrainian border to chat with her.
Scheduled to air on Christmas morning and also co-hosted by Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard, the festive episode sees the youngster updating Susanna on what she’s been up to since they last saw each other.

Amelia went viral earlier this year when she sang Frozen’s ‘Let It Go’ from a bunker in kyiv, and Susanna met her in Poland before she and her mum arrived in the UK at a later date.
During the meeting, Kate, Ben and Susanna sit down to welcome him as Susanna exclaims, ‘It’s nice to see you, I’m so excited to see you!’
When asked what she’s been up to since they last saw each other, Amelia talks about being in America and also how she recorded a song for a secret project.

Susanna also asked what she will do to celebrate Ukrainian Christmas, which takes place on January 7 every year.
Keeping it traditional, Amelia shared that she would be “with the whole family, sitting down and eating,” adding that she “can’t wait” to see her whole family.
“We are going to kyiv to see my dear husband, Amelia’s father, my son, my mother, my father and my brother,” said her mother Lilia.
Gifting time! The presenters handed out a goody bag, which seemed to be a big hit with Amelia, who immediately placed a Christmas headband from the bag on her head.
Glitzy: Getting into the festive spirit of the episode, Kate (left) opted for a gold sequined bodysuit, while Susanna (right) stuck to a similar theme in a red sequined wrap dress.
Special: As Ben sat among the beauties in a burgundy velvet blazer, as fans were led out of the party to celebrate the special episode.
Continuing: ‘It’s very difficult. This is our favorite time of the year and when I look to prepare for Christmas, all I think about is that there can be no war or missile attacks in Ukraine at that time.”
Offering words of support, Susanna told them: ‘Our hearts go out to you… Good luck on the journey home. We all hope and pray that it can all be over as soon as possible. We hope your family stays safe.
And getting into the festive spirit, she and Kate gifted Amelia with Christmas video messages from celebrities including Adam Lambert, Scarlett Douglas, Jill Scott, Jason Manford, Alesha Dixon and Tom Grennan.

Musical Acts – While the West End Musical Choir and Canterbury Cathedral Scholars also join in for a few Christmas carols.
The presenters also handed out a bag of physical goodies, which seemed to be a big hit with Amelia, who immediately placed a Christmas headband from the bag on her head.
In addition to Amelia, the GMB Christmas Day special also hosts a host of guests including Owen Warner, Alan Halsall, Dame Maureen Lipman, Larry Lamb and Rickie Haywood-Williams, Caroline Catz, Matt Goss and Bill Bailey.
Taking to the studio, Doc Martin’s Caroline talks about the latest episode of the medical dramedy this Christmas Day, before playing a special Port Isaac test with Ben.
