Susanna Reid Offered Up New Shows From GMB Bosses, Amid Claims That Left Her ‘Furious About Bugs’
Susanna Reid has reportedly been offered exciting new on-screen opportunities by ITV amid claims she was left “in rage over a series of embarrassing mistakes” on Good Morning Britain.
An informant said Sun that the bosses hope to secure his long-term future on the show after they feared he would quit.
The source said: “GMB has some phenomenal programming ideas built around Susanna for later this year, all of which she has very proactively contributed to and helped build and inspire, so why would she walk away from them? ?”
Details surrounding the filming are not yet known, but various show ideas are said to be in the works.

And it seems like it was a necessary improvement, after the presenter was said to have been furious earlier this week following a series of embarrassing bugs on GMB.
Susanna, 52, allegedly “made her feelings very clear” and confronted top executives after a series of blunders and errors made their way onto the live stream.
Misspellings, incorrect dates, and incorrect graphic designs have crept in during the show’s live broadcasts in recent weeks, leaving the host reportedly embarrassed.
Among the errors was an incident in which news correspondent Ben Chapman’s name was misspelled during his live broadcast from Romania.
As Ranvir Singh introduced the segment, he introduced Ben for his section, with his name appearing on screen as ‘Ben Champan’.
In another incident, GMB aired a segment paying tribute to the death of Lisa Marie Presley, with the word “remember” also misspelled on the screen, as the graphic read: “Remember.”
And that was not all, since one morning Susanna was presenting the program with a wrong date.

A source told The Sun: ‘She made her feelings very clear and confronted senior executives about it.
“Susanna is totally professional and just wants high standards, just like Piers or any other presenter would have.
“The last thing anyone wants is for her to walk away in a huff.”
Susanna doesn’t appear to be the only one aggravated by the bugs, as some viewers took to Twitter during live morning shows to highlight GMB’s bugs.
Calling up a poster he had made for rugby player Levi Simeon Davis, who went missing in October 2022, many noticed that the wrong year was printed on the graphic.
“@gmb your poster for Levi’s disappearance has the wrong date, it says October 2023,” he wrote in the viewer.

Good Morning Britain also ran into trouble last week, but this time it was a verbal error by the presenter Richard rather than a typo.
The host was left apologizing for confusing Sam Smith, who uses the pronouns they/they.
Richard had been debating whether Sam’s latest music video for I’m Not Here To Make Friends is too sexualized when the slip-up occurred, where he accidentally referred to Sam as “he”.
Co-host Susanna was quick to correct her mistake, and Richard later apologized.
And while a panel was discussing the video, Richard also confused guest Shivani Dave, who uses they/them pronouns.
Richard apologized a second time, saying: ‘I’m so sorry. I will learn to do that.
Shivani later tweeted: “I’ve been getting messages from people who are worried I’ve been misled by Richard Madley on @GMB.”

Having grown up in Croydon and studying broadcast journalism, Susanna got her big break presenting on BBC Breakfast from 2003 to 2014 with the late Bill Turnbull, before moving to Good Morning Britain.
There she had the famously unenviable task of trying to speak on the fringes alongside Piers Morgan, until he abruptly left in March 2021 following comments he made about the Duchess of Sussex.
Since then there has been no permanent male presenter, but a rotating cast including Richard Madeley, Martin Lewis, Ed Balls and Rob Rinder.
Susanna’s on-air fights
While Susanna is often praised for keeping her composure during live broadcasts, there have been incidents where she has let her emotions out in the past.
Earlier in the week, Susanna launched a vicious attack on former Health Secretary Matt Hancock.
The host asked him if his affair with deputy Gina Coladangelo in fact violated the law and continued to question him about lockdown laws at the time while trying to change the subject.
She was praised by viewers who took to Twitter to call the interview a “master class” for any aspiring political journalist.
In November, Susanna launched a withering attack on a Just Stop Oil spokesperson this morning after the group stopped traffic on the M25 again by climbing onto gantries at multiple junctions.
When the group’s spokesperson claimed that the media was not reporting the events effectively, Susanna launched into an impassioned tirade, telling him: ‘You have no idea what this show is doing… And you have the audacity to come here. and say that we are completely distracted and we are not talking about the problems?

In 2021, Susanna was unimpressed when her co-host at the time, Alastair Campbell, told her to “feel your wrinkled apples” during an impassioned tirade about a shoddy Ocado installment.
Susanna didn’t seem amused when the former Labor press strategist ranted about the state of his fruit, which the grocery company blamed on a shortage of pickers, truckers and CO2.
The host was also famous for her hilarious run-ins with former co-host Piers Morgan, with the pair disagreeing on numerous occasions.
