Susanna Reid forced to apologise on Good Morning Britain

Susanna Reid had to apologize for her co-presenter Ed Balls’ awkward gaffe live on-air during Monday’s episode of Good Morning Britain.

The presenter, 52, was presenting the ITV show alongside the ex-politician, 56, when he made an identity mistake.

The pair talked about Sunday’s BAFTAs that Susanna attended and while she was there she was joined Damian Lewis, 52, in a clip that aired on the show.

But Ed was most confused by who she was with.

He said, “Was that Benedict Cumberbatch you were with?” Leaving Susanna in shock

She quickly answered back, “No, that was Damian Lewis.”

“Then go on,” Ed replied.

Susanna had to apologize and said, “Sorry Damian, if you’re not Benedict Cumberbatch, he wants nothing to do with you.”

Ed agreed playfully and said, “Nothing.”

Susanna exuded sophistication in the black dress that hugged every inch of her stunning figure at the weekend event.

Her strapless dress was adorned with perfectly placed diamond embellishments and showed off her toned arms.

She wore the sparkle in her accessories with pointy silver heels and dangling diamond earrings.

With a radiant makeup palette for the evening, Susanna wore her caramel locks in loose waves.

Kate Winslet was awarded Best Actress for her critically acclaimed performance in I Am Ruth, and during her speech she paid tribute to her co-star and daughter Mia Threapleton.
