The American singer is currently touring Britain and during his show in Glasgow he was joined by the Britain's Got Talent star as the two shared the stage on a number of occasions.
Donny, 65, previously collaborated with the Scottish singer, 62, on her fourth studio album, 2012's Standing Ovation: The Greatest Songs From The Stage and the two have performed together in the past.
Two songs featured Donny's vocals on both Fame's Out Here On My Own and This Is The Moment by Jekyll and Hyde.
After the two performed at the Glasgow Hydro, Donny took to Instagram to share a sweet video of him and Susan backstage in the dressing room.

Susan wore her strawberry blonde hair in a bob as she cut a stylish figure in a silver, flashy blazer jacket.
He captioned the post: “In Glasgow, Scotland and lo and behold, guess who came to my concert? My dear friend, Susan Boyle!
'She was standing backstage in one of the dressing rooms waiting to go to the audience and I heard an angelic voice in the corridor. I walked to the door and…(laughing emoji face)'.
The star also shared a video of him outside Susan's dressing room listening to her sing.
Donny said, “I shouldn't be doing this, but… voice of an angel.”
He then knocked on the door before entering and saw a seemingly unsurprised Susan smiling as he exclaimed: 'There she is! She's so beautiful, she's so beautiful,' to a seemingly unflappable Susan.'
Fans took to the comments section as they gushed about the amazing night.
One wrote: “Aww, that's a beautiful photo…she definitely had her moment with you,” while a second added: “What a beautiful moment last night and what a show!!” (sic)
A third chimed in: 'What a night it was! Come back soon!!' and another commented: 'I hope everything goes better for her after the illness. She looks beautiful on you, Donny!'
It comes after Susan returned to TV for the Britain's Got Talent final in June which revealed that she had suffered a 'minor' stroke in 2022.

Susan returned to the final of Britain's Get Talent (pictured) in June after revealing she had suffered a stroke which left her speech 'almost intelligible'
But what the singer was too modest to mention that evening was that she has made a miraculous recovery after suffering a complete stroke, which made her speech 'almost unintelligible'.
Susan had to learn to speak clearly again and also had to receive intensive vocal guidance so that she could sing.
Her PA Geraldine said her goodnight as usual at the ex-council house in Blackburn West Lothian, where she has always lived.
But when he returned the next morning, it was clear that the singer, while alone, had been affected.
The source said: 'The PA came to see her that morning, they often go for breakfast together, but as soon as she saw Susan she realized they had to go to hospital straight away.
'She could walk, but had a droopy face and slurred speech. She could talk, but it was hard to understand what she was saying.'
There were fears that the stroke could mean that Boyle, who has sold around 25 million albums in her career, might never sing again.
'All she ever wanted to do was sing and she was convinced at that point her career was over. She was devastated, deeply upset and sick.
“She hired a private speech therapist when the crisis was over and she was out of the hospital.
'Since then she sees him a few times a week, does homework in between and also sees her regular singing coach.
'She has worked very hard to get to the point where she could perform (at BGT), although we are not quite back to where we were before the stroke.'
