Third boy, 12, comes forward about massive CBD building fire after police spoke to two 13-year-old boys – as police issue urgent appeal for scene surveillance

A third teenager has turned himself in to police after the massive fire that ripped through a warehouse in Sydney.
The third boy, 12, is next to two other boys, both 13, who have already spoken to detectives – and all three confirmed they were in the building when the fire broke out.
Detectives from the Financial Crimes Squad’s Arson Division have created Strike Force Strontium as they investigate the inferno that destroyed the abandoned warehouse in Surry Hills Thursday afternoon.
Detectives said they would particularly like access to CCTV footage, dashcams and cellphones showing activity on Randle Street between 2:45 p.m. and 4 p.m. Thursday.
Footage can be uploaded through the Crime Stoppers website and business owners in the CCTV-surveilled area have been asked to speak to Surry Hills Police Station.
During the fire, part of the building collapsed and the street collapsed under the rubble
NSW Fire and Rescue said parts of the debris in the building were still smoldering on Saturday
