Despite shocking ratings for last season, with three bachelors instead of one, Channel 10 has bravely decided to give another shot at reviving the franchise.
According to a show insider, the network had to settle for three relatively unknown bachelors after their search for a celebrity fell through.
Wesley Senna Cortes, Ben Waddell and Luke Bateman are the everyday men who will take the spotlight in search of love, with Channel 10 promising to be this season’s ‘most romantic yet’.
This approach has failed to satisfy fans eager for the series to take a new approach in an effort to revive declining ratings.

Viewers have been quick to express their disappointment with the show’s direction and lack of diversity.
One frustrated fan wondered, “Isn’t it so much better to go back to the original way?”, while another sarcastically commented, “More middle of the road, conventionally attractive white guys. Yay how interesting.’
There have also been desperate calls for a “golden bachelor” representing the over 50s, and others express disappointment that there is no candidate who is disabled or who identifies as bisexual.
