Suri Cruise was spotted Tuesday lugging a navy blue backpack around New York City while listening to large wireless headphones.
Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s fake baby — who came of age on April 18 at the age of 18 — was dressed in a red-striped short-sleeved Henley top, gray sweatpants and off-white Converse “Chuck Taylors.”
Suri, who also wore a blue denim jacket, is still weeks away from graduating from high school.
Last Thursday, Hello! Magazine reported that Cruise revealed her new name in the poster for her school production of The Go-Go’s jukebox musical, Head Over Heels.
The not-so-typical teen simply called herself “Suri Noelle,” taking her 45-year-old mother’s middle name and dropping her estranged 61-year-old father’s last name.

“Well, I always want top-level talent, so I asked her,” Holmes told Yahoo! Entertainment in 2022.
‘She’s very talented. She said she would and she recorded it, and I let her do her thing. That’s the way I generally direct. It’s like, “I think this is what we all want and then go do your thing.”
The former singer was just six when the Dawson’s Creek alum divorced Tom in 2012 after six years of marriage, and Cruise paid her a total of $4.8 million in child support.

Some speculate that Tom’s alleged estrangement has to do with the mother-daughter duo “denying the Church of Scientology” and devotees not associating with SPs (oppressive people).
Cruise is also the father of two adult children: Isabella Jane Cruise, 31; and Connor Antony Cruise, 29 – from his decade-long marriage to ex-wife #2 Nicole Kidman, which ended in 2001.
