A multimillion-dollar superyacht has been destroyed in a massive fire on Sydney’s lower north shore.

Emergency services were called to Woolwich Dock around 8.10pm on Saturday after reports of a boat fire.

On arrival the boat turned out to be completely on fire.

Fire and Rescue NSW worked to extinguish the blaze.

There are no reports of injuries.

Officers from the Commando Marine Area have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fire.
