Former Man City striker Mario Balotelli has proved his skills are not just limited to the football pitch after sharing a video of his Muay Thai training.
The Italian has made a name for himself over the years as one of modern football’s greatest characters, with his various antics such as setting off fireworks in his team’s dressing room.
Now, however, it appears the 33-year-old has found a way to release his energy without disturbing his teammates, as he posted a video at an MMA gym.
In a video that appeared on XBalotelli was seen practicing some impressive kicks at the Kamala Muay Thai gym in Phuket, Thailand.
The Adana Demirspor forward was clearly no newcomer to the sport as he rattled a series of powerful kicks into his coach’s pads.

In a message at their Facebook pagethe gym wrote: ‘Kamala Muay Thai is pleased to express our sincere thanks to Mario Balotelli for joining our training camp.
‘We are honored that such a renowned athlete has joined us to immerse himself in the rich tradition and strict discipline of Muay Thai.
‘At Kamala Muay Thai we pride ourselves on offering top training that is suitable for everyone, from young beginners taking their first steps in the art of Muay Thai to seasoned professionals honing their skills.
“Our camp is dedicated to fostering a deep appreciation for Muay Thai, its techniques and its cultural heritage.”
Balotelli recently made headlines after pretending to smoke when a lighter was thrown onto the pitch during a Turkish Super Lig match.
Demirspor fans have witnessed his abilities first-hand, with the 33-year-old scoring seven goals in 16 Super Lig appearances this season, with his last appearance coming against Fenerbahce in April.
After scoring in the 25th minute, Balotelli celebrated by pretending to smoke after picking up a lighter thrown at him by frustrated fans in the crowd.
