New York’s Empire State Building kept up with the exciting Super Bowl LVII by changing color every time there was a touchdown.
The famous landmark showcased their divided loyalties as Travis and Jason Kelce’s mother, Donna, before the game began.
The Empire State Building was half red and gold for the Kansas City Chiefs and half green and white for the Philadelphia Eagles to support both teams in the NFL Finals in Arizona. The Chiefs won 38-35 in a dramatic game.
Once the highly anticipated clash began at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, the skyscraper acted as a “virtual scoreboard.”
As soon as Jalen Hurts scored the game’s first touchdown, the building changed to flashing green and white for the Eagles.

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce responded soon after in the first quarter when he found the end zone, causing the Empire State Building to turn flashes of red and gold.
The different colors come after the iconic building turned green and white when Philadelphia won the NFC title.
After the Eagles defeated the San Francisco 49ers 31-7, the Empire State Building’s Twitter account shared a photo of the iconic New York landmark lit up in Philadelphia colors.
The bizarre move to honor one of the city’s bitterest rivals angered many New Yorkers on social media.
Many New York sports fans were furious, particularly with the move that came just a week after the Eagles defeated their NFC East rivals in the NFC divisional round as Philadelphia beat the New York Giants 38 -7.
In the divisional round, the Giants were outscored by Philadelphia, gaining just over 225 yards of total offense and allowing 416 total yards and five touchdowns.
This season, Philadelphia defeated the Giants in all three of their games, winning 48-22 in Week 14 and again in Week 18 by a score of 22-16.
And with the wound still fresh, many fans and athletes have taken to social media to criticize the move.

New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson simply tweeted, “Hahaha what” when the image was revealed.
Longtime ESPN host and New York Jets fan Mike Greenberg astutely wrote, “I’m sure this will be very well received.”
ESPN NFL analyst Mina Kimes asked: ‘Did they lose a bet?’ while ESPN baseball analyst Joon Lee shared a Star Wars meme calling this ‘treason’.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul also addressed the situation Monday morning after the protest.
“To be clear, the State of New York has no control over how @EmpireStateBldg lights their colors,” he tweeted.
The Empire State Building finished Sunday night in red and gold after the Chiefs prevailed.
