Thomas won Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seattle Seahawks as part of their famous ‘Legion of Boom’ secondary.

While playing in the NFL from 2010 to 2019, he was a seven-time Pro Bowler and a three-time All-Pro team selection.

According to Nola.com, Thompson used a forged driver’s license with his own photo and Thomas’ information to create a fake bank account and transfer car titles to himself.

This included one for a Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV – which he drove to the bank on the day he was arrested. Police reports do not explain how he obtained “physical possession” of these cars.

Jefferson Parish police say Thomas’ credit union in his native Texas discovered suspicious activity at a bank in Louisiana. They then informed authorities that Thomas had not opened an account with the New Orleans-based bank Jefferson Financial.

Thompson was arrested a second time when he tried to obtain the Rolls-Royce with another vehicle that had been reported stolen. He is free on $730,000 bond.

Thomas and his ex-wife divorced in 2020. Both were involved in an incident on Christmas Eve in which they both brandished weapons in a parking lot.

Nina has accused Earl of infidelity and he has been ordered to stay at least 400 feet away from her.
