Super Bowl 2024: Travis Kelce opens up about girlfriend Taylor Swift’s private jet parking situation amid reports the NFL have reserved her a spot in sold-out Las Vegas

Travis Kelce has refused to confirm whether or not girlfriend Taylor Swift will have a place to park her private jet at the Super Bowl in Las Vegas on Sunday.

Swift is flying across the world to be at Allegiant Stadium for kickoff on Sunday when Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers.

The pop star ends the Japanese leg of her Eras Tour in Tokyo on February 10 and faces a frantic rush to return to the US for the competition on February 11.

But in addition to the lack of time, she may also have trouble finding a place to leave her plane for the weekend in Las Vegas.

DailyMail.com reported last week that Sin City had completely sold out private jet parking spaces for Super Bowl weekend, leaving many of the rich and famous looking for alternatives.

Michael Giordano, a partner at Cirrus Aviation Services in Las Vegas, told The New York Post that the NFL Swift will provide space to land, although parking spaces are becoming increasingly difficult to find.

“Taylor Swift will definitely have a place to land in the NFL, but not necessarily a place to park,” Giordano said.

However, Kelce declined to definitively say whether Swift had definitively gotten one.

Asked on Monday night, Kelce replied, “I’ll have to ask.”

The parking lots at the city’s Harry Reid Airport and the two nearest executive jet strips, North Las Vegas and Henderson, for parking private jets are all already taken. according to the New York Post.

Meanwhile, Sunday night’s take-off seats for fans wanting a quick getaway have also reportedly already disappeared.

The buzz on the three strips, fueled not only by the NFL’s biggest game but also by LIV Golf holding its first tournament in Las Vegas this week, has San Francisco tech billionaires and hedge fund owners in New York panic.

A private jet insider told The Post that he was aware of a New York-based hedge fund owner who had tickets to the Super Bowl but decided to stay in the Big Apple to watch the game because of the travel chaos.

“They couldn’t find a place and leaving on Sunday night felt risky,” he said. ‘It’s not worth going if you can’t get home when you want. They decided to ditch the plane and watch the game in New York.”

Meanwhile, Silicon Valley’s tech gurus are also in hot water after failing to plan ahead before the San Francisco 49ers’ victory in last month’s NFC Championship game.

“Those tech guys think they know everything and they don’t listen,” added Giordano, who revealed he has told clients money isn’t the problem, he can’t physically fit them in.

“I’ve had about $500,000 in travel requests rejected because there are no more planes and no more slots.”

Even if the one percenters manage to get a private jet seat, they will reportedly face additional costs.

Signature Flight Support and Atlantic Aviation, the two main private jet operators in Vegas, plus Henderson Executive Airport, are said to have introduced special event fees in an effort to take advantage of the cash-strapped situation.

Kelce was also asked if his famous girlfriend’s presence at his matches puts more pressure on him to perform.

The 34-year-old replied: “You can’t put more pressure than I put on myself. I promise you that. It’s just the heart of a competitor.

“She definitely brought a lot of new faces into the game and it was fun to experience that.

‘She seems to enjoy the games. She is currently part of the Chiefs kingdom and it is nice to see her enjoying the football.”
