Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac’s brutal farewell sleigh ride to outgoing host David ‘Kochie’ Koch: ‘It’s a true testament to how much you’re loved’
Sam Mac has taken a hilarious pot shot at outgoing Sunrise host David ‘Kochie’ Koch on his last day as host of the top-rated breakfast show.
During his weather segment, Mac pointed out that Sunrise’s offices were almost completely empty for Koch’s farewell.
“Very exciting day, emotional, a true testament to how much you are loved, Kochie, looking at all the staff here,” Mac joked as the camera panned through the darkened office.
The sledding didn’t stop there, as Mac pointed out a hilarious sign on the door of Koch’s office.
‘Olympians Only’ was written on the sign, a nod to the fact that the 67-year-old would be replaced by Olympic sprinter Matt Shirvington.
