The Sunrise sports reporter, 56, posted a gallery of photos to Instagram in November celebrating the moment, telling his followers that what made the day even more special was that his parents were there with him.
‘So lucky to share this day with my amazing mom and dad who have given me so much. Proud to wear the Order of Australia medal,’ she wrote.
