Sunrise host Natalie Barr’s cheeky message to Amy Schumer after she mocked Nicole Kidman’s photo at the US Open… as Kyle Sandilands paints the comedian as a ‘terrible person’
Natalie Barr has criticized Amy Schumer for mocking the way Hollywood superstar Nicole Kidman sat at the US Open this weekend.
The American comedian, 42, took to Instagram on Monday and shared a photo of the Australian actress, 56, at the tennis tournament, staring wide-eyed into the camera.
Under the photo, Schumer wrote, “This is how people sit.” But many followers didn’t find the comment funny and accused the Trainwreck star of bullying.
On Tuesday, Natalie attacked Schumer while discussing the reaction to Sunrise, saying the comedian shouldn’t make these types of jokes because “things have changed.”
‘It was quite intense. Things have changed since Amy started her prank career,” she said.
Meanwhile, radio host Kyle Sandilands also slammed Schumer’s post and “apology” and accused her of being a “troll” on KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O show.
After the backlash, Schumer apologized on Instagram: “I want to apologize to all the people I hurt by posting a photo of Nicole Kidman and referencing the fact that she is an alien.”
“I’m going to ask the cast of that 1970s show to write letters pleading for my forgiveness.” She added the hashtag for taking time to heal.
Her comment referenced recent letters written by the cast of the 1970s Show about Danny Masterson after he was found guilty of raping two women in the early 2000s.

Kyle told his co-host Jackie O Henderson on Tuesday: “Amy Schumer is a troll. She makes a joke about a person being raped. This bitch has no idea.”
“I don’t know why she thinks she can be an asshole to everyone. I just don’t like her because she’s just a horrible person. She’s nothing.’
Many fans have also accused Schumer of “cyberbullying” Kidman.
“Are you currently cyberbullying Oscar and Emmy winner Nicole Kidman?” wrote one follower.
‘This message seems beneath you. What point are you trying to make here?’ another commented.

“She’s probably uncomfortable because there’s a complete stranger recording her. That’s the look of annoyance and frustration leaking through the Botox,” a third said sarcastically.
Another fan expressed his disappointment with Schumer.
‘Wow so mean! I expected one of my favorite comedians to have more respect for the feelings of others than this.”
