Sunrise host Natalie Barr gives her brutal take on Crown Prince Frederik’s cheating scandal with glamorous Mexican socialite: ‘If it looks like a duck’
Natalie Barr spoke out about the shocking fraud scandal that has rocked Denmark’s royal family this week.
Crown Prince Frederik was hit with accusations by the Spanish tabloid Lectures when he was spotted spending time with glamorous socialite Genoveva Casanova.
Now Sunrise host Nat, 55, has shared her cheeky take on the rumor as she slyly suggested the heir to the Danish throne, 55, had cheated on his wife, Crown Princess Mary.
“If it looks like a duck and walks like a duck,” the TV star said on Friday morning’s Sunrise, referring to the perception of infidelity fueled by the royal family’s late-night stroll.
Natalie’s co-host Matt ‘Shirvo’ Shirvington also claimed that Barr had privately called Frederik ‘a dirty dog’.
The pair discussed the incident with Daily Mirror editor Russell Myers.
“The only thing for the Prince is that he would have known,” Shirvo said as the trio concluded their part on the matter.
He continued: “He would have known that people would have been watching his every move.
‘He should have known that there would have been photographers at some point. Who knows?’
At this point, as Russell took his leave, Nat turned to Shirvo and muttered, “If it looks like a duck and walks like a duck.”

“It’s a duck at 7:30 in the morning,” Shirvo added to the laughter in the studio before revealing that Nat had previously called Prince Frederik a “dirty dog.”
A glamorous Mexican socialite has strongly denied claims she had a romantic tryst with Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark after the rumor mill went into overdrive.
Divorced Genoveva Casanova told Hello! she ‘categorically’ refutes any suggestion the pair are in a relationship after they were pictured together in Madrid – without his wife of 19 years, Crown Princess Mary.
The heir to the Danish throne and the socialite, 47, met in the Spanish capital last weekend to attend an exhibition of the works of Pablo Picasso.

During the evening, the couple was spotted on the streets of Madrid, in photos published in the Spanish magazine Lectures – which coincided with Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary welcoming the Spanish royal family on a state visit to Denmark.
However, after rumors of a romantic relationship between the pair began to circulate, Genoveva – the former daughter-in-law of the billionaire Duchess of Alba – immediately dismissed them as ‘evil’ and untrue.
A statement from the socialite said: ‘I categorically deny the statements indicating a romantic relationship between Prince Frederick and me.’
She added: “Any statement of this type not only completely lacks the truth, but also maliciously misrepresents the facts.

“This is already in the hands of my lawyers, who will take care of the relevant steps to protect my rights to honor, truth and privacy.”
According to Hello!Crown Prince Frederik’s private trip to Spain included art exhibitions, watching flamenco and visiting new restaurants.
It is believed that he planned to attend the Picasso exhibition with a mutual friend he shares with Genoveva, but at the last minute the friend was unable to go and asked Genoveva to attend in his place.
After visiting the exhibition at the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum, the couple walked through El Retiro Park before heading to El Corral de la Morería for dinner.
After Russell said goodbye, Nat turned to Shirvo and muttered, “If it looks like a duck and walks like a duck.”
