Natalie Barr was stunned when Shannon Noll revealed his hunky frame on Sunrise on Friday.

The breakfast host marveled at a shirtless selfie of the 48-year-old singer, which was flashed onto the screen to show off his impressive body transformation.

“Wow, we just saw your picture!” she said during an interview with . ‘Tell us your schedule (at the gym)?

Shannon enjoyed the compliment as he put in his hours.

‘It’s very important for me to go to the gym and things like that. It’s great for both your mind and your body,” he explained.

‘It’s great fun to keep a bit fit and it’s a bit of ‘me time’ in the gym. I can put on some tunes and rest for a bit.”

Shannon has detailed his body transformation over the past 12 months on social media and recently posted a video of himself bench pressing up to 180 pounds in the gym.

Elsewhere on Sunrise, the Australian Idol star spoke about the re-release of his 2004 album That’s What I’m Talking About to mark its upcoming 20th anniversary.

He also announced a duet with singer Cosima De Vito, who famously appeared in the final three of the first season of Idol.

He reflected further on his own time on Idol, coming second in the hit show’s first season in 2003, behind Guy Sebastian.
