Sunrise host David Koch cringed with embarrassment as he watched his old INXS performance in a resurfaced video.

In the clip filmed in 2003, Kochie performed alongside frontman Jon Stevens at the opening of a rugby clubhouse.

The 66-year-old grabbed the microphone and thanked the audience, yelling: ‘Thank-you ladies and gentlemen, round of applause’.

David and his former co-host Melissa Doyle burst into laughter as they watched the video live on air.

‘He’s going red,’ Melissa said.

‘It actually felt better than it looked, I thought,’ Kochie responded.

The resurfaced video comes after Kochie raised eyebrows on Thursday after he posted a cheeky video poking fun at his co-host Natalie Barr’s show preparation routine.

His tongue-in-cheek ‘before and after’ video showed him getting dolled up with makeup in the ‘before’ segment while in the ‘after’ he donned his trademark specs to indicate his transformation was complete.

Kochie appeared to be ribbing Nat’s more serious preparation video she posted last week.

The resurfaced video comes after Kochie raised eyebrows on Thursday after he posted a cheeky video poking fun at his co-host Natalie Barr’s show preparation routine 

Natalie’s video showed how the wardrobe department work their magic by transforming her morning hair into the stylish ‘do she presents with.

Kochie being bald means he does not take anywhere near as long to prepare.

Sunrise wrote alongside their video Kochie was ‘here to prove he too can do a before and after’.
