The reality TV couple first met in the Hamptons while filming Bravo’s Summer House and later forged a deeper bond on the spinoff series Winter House.

Their chemistry for months led fans to confirm their romance on Instagram in October 2021, putting an end to the swirling speculation.

“Craig and I have decided to no longer be together,” DeSorbo revealed during Monday’s episode of her and Hannah Berner’s Giggly Squad podcast.

Fighting back tears, the reality star admitted that publicly discussing the breakup felt “weird,” but she made it clear that she had only positive feelings for Conover.

‘I love him. I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends,” she said, adding, “Nobody did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing.’

She went on to describe their decision as a mature one, saying, “I think we were both just very mature and said what we wanted and what we didn’t want.

“And I think being able to express in real time how you feel and what you want for your future is extremely powerful.”

Paige remained tight-lipped about the exact reasons behind her split from Craig, but described the past few years as “very transformative,” noting that both she and Conover had experienced significant growth and change during their time together.

Although she didn’t specify when they officially ended their relationship, the couple still seemed to be on good terms last month as they celebrated Thanksgiving at her parents’ home in upstate New York.

‘He’s absolutely the best boyfriend I’ve ever had. I can really say that,” DeSorbo shared, looking back on their time together.

“He was a great boyfriend, and he did everything right, and he never made me feel insecure or anything like that, so it’s almost harder when no one has done anything to be upset about, and that’s hard.”

The shocking announcement came just weeks after Craig, 35, told the story People that he had stopped drinking, motivated by a desire to “become more of a husband and father material” for the Summer House alum.

‘We are playing the long game. It would be easy to go for instant gratification, but the foundation we build is that one day we will die together, and we won’t just make it fun,” Craig said on December 5, speaking about their relationship.

Feeling confident about their future, he added, “We know we’re going to get married one day, and when it happens it will be a lot of fun, but whenever that is, who knows?”

Looking ahead, Craig also thought about their plans for family life.

“We’ve probably got a few more years before we have kids, and then we’ll have to figure it out,” he said, adding with a laugh, “But I’ve really taken on this normal role now, which is that I’m a happy woman , happy life.’

He also reflected on their long-distance relationship and emphasized their commitment to making it work.

“Finding your person is the hardest part,” he said, adding that they plan to figure out the logistics later, with the goal of staying home with their future children as much as possible.
