Rocksteady didn't provide a reason for Epic Games' delay, so it's unclear why the game was delayed a month, but it is offering cancellations and refunds.
“If you pre-ordered the game from this store, Epic will cancel your pre-order and refund customers directly,” the message explains. “A confirmation email of this cancellation will be sent directly from the Epic Games Store support team.”
The upcoming supervillain game has suffered its fair share of setbacks in recent years, most recently in April when the game was pushed back from May 26, 2023 to its current date of February 2.
The development team explained at the time that it was a “difficult decision” but that it needed the extra time “to work on making the game the best quality experience for players.”
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a third-person action game with cooperative play and revolves around four members of the DC supervillain team: Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, King Shark and Deadshot. They are tasked with eliminating brainwashed members of the Justice League, including Batman, Superman, Green Lantern and The Flash.
