The Awkward Moment Succession star Nicholas Braun cuts himself off mid-sentence during an interview on The Project while telling a story about Quentin Tarantino
Nicholas Braun was promoting the final season of his hit series Succession on Australia’s The Sunday Project this weekend.
The actor launched into a lengthy story about his meeting with Quentin Tarantino towards the end of his five-minute interview, only to be cut off mid-sentence.
Nicholas explained that he had seen the famous Pulp Fiction director on a plane in 2005, when he was a child star who had just filmed the Disney movie Sky High.
Then I saw Quentin and he was in first class and I walked past him. And when I got to my seat I said, “I have to do something, I have to tell Quentin something,” he told the show’s hosts, including Sarah Harris and Hamish Macdonald.
‘So I broke the [movie] ad in the back of the magazine and I took it to Quentin and said, “Hi Quentin, you don’t know me, but it’s me here in this ad.”

“The movie is about time travel and these kids flying through the space-time continuum in snowsuits…” he continued.
At this point, a stressed-sounding Harris chimed in: “Look, we’re running out of time.”
“I know, we’ll finish it, it’s a very important story,” Nicholas replied, to which an even more exhausted Harris said urgently, “We have to go!”
“But anyway, Quentin took it and it was an amazing moment for us,” Nicholas finally finished.
‘Thank you so much for joining us!’ Harris finished audibly exasperated before launching into the commercial.

Nicholas took it easy, telling the hosts that he hopes to meet them in person the next time he’s in the country, before the segment ends.
It comes after the actor revealed it was “sad as hell” to have to say goodbye to HBO’s hit series Succession.
The 34-year-old spoke to Entertainment Tonight at the 2023 Film Independent Spirit Awards over the weekend about his thoughts on the series finale after its upcoming fourth season.
“That was a big thing,” Braun said of the announcement. “We expected it while making the show, but you don’t believe it until Jesse says it,” he said, referring to the show’s creator, Jesse Armstrong.
He continued: ‘We’re all pretty bummed out. I was sad as hell my last day.
The actor plays cousin Greg, the clumsy but lovable underdog of the Roy family, on the show.
Succession creator Jesse Armstrong announced last month that the show will culminate with the next 10 episodes, which will begin airing on March 26.
