Cox, addressing the ongoing controversies surrounding Megxit, stated that while people think there is an “innocence” to the Sussexes, he believes Meghan was fully aware that she was inserting herself into a long-standing system.

“You can’t break into a system where someone has already been trained to behave in a certain way and then expect them to log out,” he told the outlet. I mean, she knew what she was getting into.

The Emmy Award winner also claimed that Meghan “clearly” had an “ambition” when she married Harry.

“Childhood dreams of marrying Prince Charming and all that we see as a fantasy that could be our life in our dreams,” he argued, calling himself a “Cinderella person.”

Despite criticizing Meghan for apparently tampering with the royal system, Cox added: “In my opinion, we shouldn’t have a monarchy.” It is not feasible; it does not make any sense.

He said that although the monarchists would say that the system is a ‘tradition’, their thoughts are ‘fuck it, move on’.

Cox (pictured) also echoed his earlier push to abolish the monarchy, claiming that the traditional entity “isn’t viable” and “doesn’t make any sense.”

He argued that the Queen was an ‘amazing woman’ and that everything she had done was ‘unbelievable’, but still argued that it was time to end the monarchy’s ‘feudal control of our culture and system’.
