The star recently admitted that he is mourning the loss of privacy with his celebrity status, saying it was very ‘important’ to him.
Brian told me The guard: ‘I have lost my anonymity, and I have realized that that was important to me.
‘I’ve never experienced anything like this before. I mean, you ask for success in your job, and you get it, and then you have to suffer the consequences.
‘I have always valued my privacy, but that has disappeared. I’ve been very lucky to have had it for so long.
“You know, I’ve been doing this for over sixty years. And finally it’s over.’
Brian also opened up about how he turned down other roles in big blockbusters including Game of Thrones and Pirates of the Caribbean.
He revealed that he was offered the role of a king named Robert Baratheon in Game of Thrones, but he turned down the role because the money wasn’t good enough and the character was killed off early.

This isn’t the first time Brian has spoken about the loss of his anonymity since starring as the billionaire patriarch of the Roy family in Succession.
Brian won a Golden Globe for his role, but told Barley Magazine that his success comes at a price.
Earlier this year he explained: ‘It’s been a phenomenal journey for me. There is no doubt that it has changed my life in so many ways.
‘I’ve lost my anonymity, you know, I’ve lost all that. That’s all gone. I was the guy who made you say, ‘Oh you were in so and so or no, or no you weren’t’… but now I’m Logan Roy and everyone just wants me to tell them to fuck *off !’
Discussing how fans often ask him for ‘f*** off selfies’, he said: ‘I say they can have one for $500.’
