‘It’s Like Santa Claus Is A Contract Killer’: Succession FINAL SEASON Shows Logan Roy Preparing To Battle His Family Once More In Official Trailer
HBO has released the official trailer for the fourth and final season of Succession. In it, we see the Roy family once again prepare to battle their father Logan (Brian Cox) for the last time.
The official description of the season reveals: “The sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson is drawing ever closer.”
Adding: “The prospect of this seismic sale causes existential angst and family division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will be like once the deal is complete. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs a future in which their cultural and political weight is severely reduced.
The new series will pick up where the third season left off, in which Logan pulled off a huge power move against his children with the help of Tom (Matthew Macfadyen), canceling the major merger deal between Waystar Royco and GoJo.
Now, brothers Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Roman (Kieran Culkin) and Shiv (Sarah Snook) seem more determined than ever to seek revenge and take control of their ailing father’s empire.
HBO has released the official trailer for the fourth and final season of Succession. In it, we see the Roy family once again prepare for battle against their father Logan (Brian Cox) for the last time.
The tense trailer opens with Tom and Greg snooping on Logan as he sinisterly walks through the ATN newsroom.
“It’s like Santa Claus is a hit man,” Greg says, describing Logan’s behavior.
It then cuts to a scene where Kendall says, “We were apart behind our backs, but things have a way for us,” and suggests joining forces with the “death-fighting ogres” to overthrow her father.
Shiv seems to be on board with the plan when she later asks, “Are you excited to be in on this knife fight?” with Kendall then saying, “Let’s blow it up.”
