Variety called Cox a “presumptive Emmy contender” as they argued how to get the cast nominated for an award.

In light of the latest episode, the outlet has updated their list of predictions for Emmy nominees. The show received numerous ‘nominations’ across a range of categories, with acting nominations for Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin, Cox and Snook.

The cover also believes the show will likely receive more Emmy nods: “Assuming “Succession” remains in the good graces of Emmy voters — and there’s no reason to suspect otherwise, especially without the juggernaut that “Squid Game” was to serve as a spoiler – it seems safe to assume that a new pass from the show’s performers will again score nominations.”
