Sophie said the benefits of oiling hair include moisturizing hair, which in turn makes it healthier, detangling hair, which means less breakage and split ends, and making it shinier, which she says means “more compliments.”

“Apply oils like argan, Moroccan, and marula to the ends every night before bed,” added Sophie.

You only need a couple of drops and you should avoid the roots to prevent your hair from looking greasy.

When it comes to her favorite oils for hair, Sophie said that while all types, including grapeseed, coconut, and castor, are good, it doesn’t get any better than rosemary oil.

The idea that rosemary oil stimulates hair growth stems from the fact that it has anti-inflammatory properties, promotes nerve growth, and improves circulation.

The 23-year-old also performs a ‘rosemary rinse’ from time to time to stimulate hair growth.

To recreate the rinse yourself, she recommends adding a few sprigs of rosemary to a pan of boiling water and boiling them together for 10 minutes.

If you want, you can add a few drops of rosemary oil to help the mix.

Once this was done, he said to pour it into a pitcher or container, let it cool, and then pop it in the shower.

“Do your shampoo and conditioner as usual, run the rosemary rinse through your hair and don’t wash it out,” Australian Rapunzel said.

‘The results are smooth hair and hair growth. It’s easy to do and completely natural!’

She starts by using a detangling brush to get rid of the knots in her hair.

After this, she said she dabs a bit of argan oil on the ends of her hair, as it helps detangle and makes her long locks easier to brush.

Australian Rapunzel prefers O&M’s Argan Oil ($37.95), which promises to “minimize frizz and smooth hair for a sleek, polished look.”

She explained that she always puts her hair in a braid before she goes to bed, as this helps keep her hair contained at night.

You also sleep on silk pillowcases, which are known to help with hair breakage and help keep your hair soft and shiny.

Aussie Rapunzel’s tips for hair growth and health

1. Hair oils – It is recommended to use Argan or Moroccan oil and apply it to the ends of the hair.

2. Hair care brushes – Use detangling brushes that have small, flexible bristles to prevent split ends and breakage.

3. Regular decorations – Trim the hair every four months to keep it healthy or when the ends look thin and sparse.

4. Stimulate hair growth – This can be as simple as brushing your hair from root to tip or massaging your scalp with your fingertips.

5. Conditioner – In the shower, after applying the conditioner, gather the hair into a bun and leave the conditioner in for 5-10 minutes, then wash it with cold water to protect the hair cuticles and create shine.
