Stunning South Carolina estate complete with a horse barn and a KANGAROO lists for $22 million
A breathtaking estate with a horse barn, pub-style bar, and even a pet kangaroo will be listed for sale near Greenville, South Carolina, for a whopping $22 million.
The approximately 54-acre estate, which is also home to six horses that can be included in the price, will set a record if sold for asking price, according to the state The Wall Street Journal.
The incredible home, which sits 20 miles outside of Greenville in Simpsonville, is being sold by Bob Castellani, founder of emergency medical supplies company North American Rescue, and his wife, Kelly Castellani.
A staunch political donor, Castellani has hosted Republican Governor Henry McMaster and Senator Lindsey Graham at house fundraisers.
A hidden elevator, a home theater, two ponds and a wine room are also features of the staggering property.

According to public records, Mr. Castellani purchased the estate in 2010 for approximately $3 million with his ex-wife, Lisa Castellani.
He said he spent about $17 million dollars building the estate, which was completed around 2014 and is inspired by a traditional English country house.
The property features a horse stable with 12 halls and three riding stables.
The six horses currently on the property could be included in the price if the buyer wants to keep them, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Perhaps the most unusual feature of the house is a pet kangaroo named Irwin, whom Castellani adopted as a companion for Thumper, another pet kangaroo who recently died.
He told the outlet that he decided to adopt kangaroos after Thumper, who was just weeks old, “jumped into a bag that I was holding.”
The six-bedroom home, which measures approximately 16,000 square feet, also includes a hidden furniture elevator.
Disguised as a panel in the floor, this innovative feature allows the main room to transition from a dining room to a sitting room.
Castellani said he came up with the idea while looking for ways to limit the home’s total square footage.

The stunning property, which is being sold furnished, also includes additional dining areas, home cinema, pub style bar and wine room.
The English country house style estate has a beautifully fitted kitchen with marble worktops and lots of wood paneling and chandeliers.
The impressive grounds also feature a swimming pool and two ponds, plus pecan trees, peach trees, blueberry bushes, and a vineyard. Agricultural machinery is also included in the asking price, according to the outlet.

In 2020, Castellani was awarded the Order of the Palmetto – the state’s highest civilian honor – by Governor Henry McMaster.
He said he and his wife plan to downsize and stay in the area.
