The stunning moment Lakers star Austin Reaves totally loses it to Aussie NBA gun Josh Green in heated scenes: “I’ll fuck you, you ain’t shit”

  • Green is in his third season with the Dallas Mavericks
  • He has become known for his advocacy.
  • Was involved in a heated confrontation

Australian basketball star Josh Green has been dining on his defense in the NBA and that tenacity led to a furious exchange with a rival LA Lakers today.

Green, who was playing for the Dallas Mavericks, stopped Lakers guard Austin Reaves near the sideline in the intense clash, forcing his opponent to lose possession.

The Australian followed up with a few choice words, causing Reaves to explode and go toe-to-toe with Green, yelling obscenities.

Between the words exchanged, Reaves could be seen yelling, “I’m going to fuck you, you ain’t shit.”

The pair had to be separated by teammates and both continued to yell at each other as Green was led towards the bench.

Both players received technical fouls.

Austin Reaves and Josh Green team up after the Aussie forced the Lakers guard to fumble possession on the sideline.

While the intensity displayed by Green typifies his rise in the NBA, he could only watch from the bench as Reaves got the last laugh, draining a crucial 3-pointer to secure a 111-108 come-from-behind victory at American Airlines Center.

ESPN commentators Mark Jones and Doris Burke warmed to the incident, with Jones stating that playoff intensity basketball had come early.

“Oh boy, him and Austin Reeves banging their guns a little bit,” said ESPN commentator Mark Jones.

“Some spite and bitterness coming from the Doris sideline, I said before, it feels like April, almost playoff time.”

Superstars LeBron James and Kyrie Irving separated the warring players as Green continued to yell at Reaves on his way to the dugout.

Burke defended Reaves for his actions, saying that he made a career out of his aggression.

Big implications. I like the no call, I’m going to say it right now,” Burke said.

‘Josh Green is going to squeal a bit and Austin Reaves, now listen, this guy plays with a chip on his shoulder and if he doesn’t, he’s not in the league.

“He thinks everyone underestimates him, I love the no call, he’s frustrated about it like you’d say Josh is going to fire his guns.”

Reaves was questioned about the incident after the match but was coy about the exchange with the Australian star.

“I feel like I always play with high intensity, I try to play every game like it’s my last,” Reaves said.

‘Something was said, and I really didn’t like it. It was a good basketball game.

When asked more about what was said, Reaves smiled and said: “I don’t remember.”

Reaves isn’t the biggest or strongest player in the NBA, but he showed he wasn’t going to back down against Green.

Green has averaged 9.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 40 games this season and recently had one of his best performances in the NBA, scoring 15 points and four rebounds in a win over New Orleans.

But Green was benched when Dallas selected superstar Kyrie Irving as a midseason trade.

He recently said that it was important for all players to support Irving and Slovenian star Luka Dončić if the Mavericks were going to push for the Championship.

luca [and Irving[ are going to have their amazing nights, but if we want to be a championship team it’s about the rest of us being able to step up,’ Green said.
