Gulf influencer Hailey Ostrom has urged America to ‘get a grip’ after accusing Kamala Harris’ devastated supporters of ‘acting like this is the end of the world’.
Harris suffered a crushing defeat to Donald Trump in Tuesday night’s presidential election, with the latter still on course to capture all seven key swing states as the votes continue to roll in.
It marks one of the most astonishing political comebacks of all time for Trump, whose controversial first term ended in disgrace four years ago when thousands of his loyal followers stormed the Capitol. The 78-year-old also faced 34 felony charges prior to his re-election.
As a result, much of the country has been left distraught by his return to office, while Harris’ voters now worry about their future.
Still, Ostrom is baffled by the dramatic reaction to Trump’s victory, claiming his first term in the White House wasn’t as bad as people suggest.

Donald Trump’s resounding victory in the elections has left several Americans desperate
Ostrom, who has 935,000 Instagram followers, insists Trump’s victory is not ‘the end of the world’
The professional golfer, who has 935,000 followers on Instagram, said in a video message on the platform on Wednesday: ‘When I woke up this morning I couldn’t believe how many people are tripping. So I’m just here to tell you: get a grip, life goes on… Okay?!
“We’ve been through four years of Trump, and we’ve survived it all. So whether you like him or not, why is everyone acting like this is the end of the world?
“We didn’t have a world war the first time he was president, we didn’t have a nuclear attack. The aliens did not come to attack us. Get a grip.
‘It’s not that serious. You’re doing well. You’ll be fine. People are crying about this and I’m thinking, is this our biggest problem in America? God damn it, we’re privileged.’
Ostrom hinted that she voted for Trump in Tuesday’s election before launching into her rant about the reaction to his victory.
“I’m not saying this to be rude or mean either,” she continued. ‘I don’t joke about the people who cry. But if you’re someone who voted for Kamala and you just lost a selection and you’re so upset… try to understand the reality for a moment.
‘Turn off the news and ask yourself: was your life so much different during the four years that Trump was president than it is now? Was it so much more negative than now? What was the worst thing that happened to you while he was president, and was it a direct result of him being president?
“I think most of you would probably say that life was pretty much the same and it was pretty normal.”
