Stunning Dallas Cowboys cheerleader takes brutal hit in game against the Commanders
A Dallas Cowboys cheerleader was surprised when the football hit her in the back of the head during the Cowboys-Commanders game at AT&T Stadium on Sunday.
After scoring a 34-yarder in Sunday’s season finale, Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey returned to the field to handle the kickoff.
Apparently he tried to hit a low line drive, but the ball came awkwardly off Aubrey’s foot – but the lack of accuracy and power wasn’t the end of the story.
As the ball floated out of bounds, it headed toward the sideline, where the Cowboys Cheerleaders performed their routine with their backs turned to the field. It floated and covered novice dancer Michelle Siemienowski on the back of her head.
Her fellow dancers immediately paused the routine to check on their teammate as the impact caused her to fall to the ground.
Warmed up by the dancers, Washington Punter Tress Way also approached Siemienowski after the goal.

An alternate angle showed a cameraman’s attempt to deflect the ball to protect the cheerleaders. Unfortunately, the ball skimmed past his hand and headed straight for the dancer’s head.
Although Siemienowski was in tears from the blow as she sat on the sidelines, she appeared to laugh it off as she collected herself.
One of her fellow cheerleaders then handed her a cup of water as she smiled while waving her face.

Dallas entered their final game of the regular season with a 7-9 record. They will be hoping to end their campaign on a high, having fallen out of play-off contention.
On the other hand, the 11-5 Commanders have clinched the sixth seed in the NFC postseason picture.
