The search for ‘Peach Bowl Girl,’ the young woman who became an internet sensation after appearing on television for just a few moments when the Georgia Bulldogs took on the Ohio State Buckeyes, is over.
Xavier University lacrosse player Catherine Gurd, nicknamed ‘Peach Bowl Girl,’ went viral after TikTok creator Hayden Sheppard He posted a short video of her with a caption that read: “Someone find me this girl from Ohio State… for God’s sake.”
As the camera pans to her, she watches the game intently from the crowd with her hands in a prayerful position to her lips.

Ever since TikTok went viral, the internet has been trying to track her down and now people have their answer.
Gurd posted a video two days after the Peach Bowl with the caption: “POV your 3 seconds on TV somehow make you go viral.”
In a follow-up TikTok, the teen posted a tongue-in-cheek clip of herself in front of a news story with the caption: “When you start 2023 with a new name.”

Clearly a sports fan, Gurd is no stranger to being a superstar on the field.
She is a four-year varsity letter winner in lacrosse and field hockey, and was a three-year captain in lacrosse.
He posted 28 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers during his junior season.
Last season, Gurd received first-team all-conference and first-team all-region honors.
‘[She] he led his team to back-to-back state runner-ups in 2018 and 2019, compiling a 39-8 record during this span.
