Officers received a call just before noon on Wednesday at the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity house in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

The university’s statement read: “We have been made aware of a student death that occurred in an off-campus residence hall. The police are investigating further, but there is no evidence of foul play at this time.

“WKU is working directly with students who may be most affected by this loss, but we encourage students who need guidance to seek support from WKU.

“We extend our deepest condolences to the student’s family, loved ones and friends.”
