A strong magnitude 6.4 earthquake shook Nepal on Friday evening, with tremors reverberating across parts of northern India including Delhi NCR, the National Center for Seismology said.
The epicenter of the earthquake was in Nepal at a depth of 10 km, the NCS said.
People in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) felt severe tremors and rushed out of their homes.
It is the third time in a month that Nepal has been hit by major earthquakes.
