Stripper reveals the ‘sensual’ perfumes that get ‘men’s attention’ and make them more money

In 2024, some of the most popular perfumes were deemed “stripper” scents after they exploded on social media.

The trend first took off on TikTok this spring, following the content creator Terree Ann Marie unveiled her signature scent combination after being a stripper for ten years – and things have been going strong ever since.

Terree’s favorite scent combination is Phlur’s $38 Vanilla Skin Body & Hair Fragrance Mist, “if you want to smell like a sweet, creamy, sensual grown vanilla,” layered with $96 Victor & Rolf Flower Bomb.

The former stripper said she gets compliments all night long with the combination and joked that she smells like “make me the beneficiary of your will.”

In another viral videoBased in Tennessee, Terree told her followers, “As a stripper, I feel so qualified to tell you what scents you can spray to get men’s attention.”

She explained, “It’s hot. It’s soft. It’s sensual. There’s a sweet, soft, vanilla kiss at the end.”

Phlur fragrances then became wildly popular on TikTok throughout the year, with creators nicknamed the body mist “stripper perfume” and saying it needed a “warning label” because it is “the sexiest, grown-up” scent.

In reality, ‘stripper perfume’ became a popular search on the social media platform, with creators bringing their favorite options.

The $19 Irresistible Sunshine from Amazon also topped the list of sweet scents that dancers loved, and many content creators tried it out for themselves.

Like the Phlur fragrance, this one also has a romantic vanilla flavor, but also notes of salty caramel and sandalwood.

On Reddit, the conversation continued – and vanilla scents predominated.

In a Reddit threadone user asked, “Sorry if this is a bit nasty, but I’m so curious, are there any exotic dancers reading this sub?”

They asked the question, “What is your favorite perfume that you want people to smell while giving a lap dance?”

Commentators were quick to opine that Black Opium, Pink Sugar and celebrity fragrances from Britney Spears and Ariana Grande all topped the list.

“6 year old stripper,” one woman wrote. “The current scents in the locker room are Kayali Vanilla, Paris Hilton OG and Sol De Janeiro.”

“Kayali perfumes are very popular, especially the vanilla,” another commenter agreed about the brand founded by YouTube creator Huda’s sister, Mona Kattan.

“Most customers want you to smell like dessert,” one commenter summed it up.

However, not all men approve of sweet, sweet vanilla scents.
