Strictly’s Tasha Ghouri puts on a VERY animated display while bleary-eyed Vicky Pattison looks all partied out as stars make a raucous departure from the National Television Awards 2024

The stars were out in force on Wednesday to celebrate one of the biggest nights on British television.

After enjoying the 2024 National Television Awards, Tasha Ghouri and Vicky Pattison kept the party going into the early hours at London’s O2 Arena.

Love Island star Tasha, who is competing on Strictly Come Dancing, looked in high spirits as she gave the cameras a thumbs up as she headed out with Jake Quickenden and friends.

She strutted around in a silver, sparkly Strictly-style dress as she headed home after a fun night out.

Vicky Pattison looked ready for bed as she left the event with her husband Ercan Ramadan, after making their first public appearance as a married couple.

She looked festive as she walked back, resting her head on Ercan’s shoulder as he kissed her sweetly on the head.

Ant and Dec picked up the Best Presenter award for a record 23rd time when they emerged as the big winners at the 2024 National Television Awards at London’s O2 Arena on Wednesday night.

As Ant and Dec continued their record-breaking winning streak, it was Mr. Bates Vs. The Post Office that emerged as the night’s big champions, taking home three prizes.

Toby Jones won the award for Best Drama Series Performance for his critically acclaimed performance in the series.

In his speech, the actor congratulated real-life Post Office campaigner Sir Alan Bates after he married his long-term partner Susanne on Richard Branson’s private island last weekend.

He added: ‘This is an extraordinary project, brilliantly commissioned, directed with flair and featuring the finest actors I could ever hope to work with. I feel truly honoured.’

Mr Bates vs The Post Office once again focused the public’s attention on the postmasters who were wrongly prosecuted during the Horizon IT scandal, which was recognised later in the evening with the presentation of the Impact Award.

Despite a year of scandal and controversy, Strictly Come Dancing won the award for best talent show at the National Television Awards on Wednesday night.

Amid concerns over the show’s future following allegations of abuse against professional dancers Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima, the BBC show beat Britain’s Got Talent, The Great British Bake Off, Masterchef and The Voice to win one of the night’s big prizes.

The NTAs are voted for by the public, and Strictly’s win is a clear sign that viewers are still behind the show, which is gearing up to return for its 20th series on Saturday night.

Presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman were joined on stage by the professional dancers and creative team as they accepted the gong.

Elsewhere, This Morning suffered a shock loss as the ITV1 show missed out on the coveted Daytime award in favour of fan favourite The Chase.

It’s been a tough year for the show, with Holly Willoughby leaving in October and being replaced by Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.

The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Awards were presented for the fifth time to I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!

Davina McCall was left holding back tears as she received the Special Recognition Prize from her good friend Hannah Waddingham.

“I love my job, I feel so privileged to share it with you. You may like some of it, but not all of it. I’ve presented some turkeys, I know!”

Kate Garraway also made an emotional appearance on stage, as she won the Authored Documentary award for her programme Kate Garraway: Derek’s Story – a film about her late husband’s battle with Covid.
