Strictly’s Shirley Ballas admits she’s ‘absolutely exhausted’ after showing continued support for Giovanni Pernice and Anton Du Beke amid the BBC show’s ongoing scandals
Shirley Ballas has admitted she is ‘completely exhausted’ by the ongoing scandals surrounding Strictly Come Dancing.
The 63-year-old chief judge continued to show his support for fellow judge Anton Du Beke and fired professional dancer Giovanni Pernice during the investigation into misconduct.
Anton, 58, is the fourth star to raise “concerns” over a resurfaced historic feud and alleged “70s-style behaviour” with former Strictly dancing partner Laila Rouass.
Giovanni, 33, was the first to star in the investigation after his former partner Amanda Abbington claimed his “intense” and “all-out” training style had given her PTSD.
And now that more and more celebrities are suing their former professional partners, it seems Shirley is becoming exhausted by the many scandals coming to light.

The chief judge continued to express his support for fellow judge Anton Du Beke and dismissed professional dancer Giovanni Pernice during the investigation into misconduct
She wrote on Instagram: ‘Hey everyone, I’m getting my revitalise infusion. Been on it for over two weeks now.
‘I’m completely exhausted so this always gives me a boost in my step and makes me feel so much better.
“I’m so grateful that I can do this while I’m in New York and a pimp can follow in my footsteps.”
This came after Anton was seen for the first time since being involved in the Strictly Come Dancing misconduct scandal.
He reduced contestant Laila, who is of Indian and Moroccan descent, to tears when he jokingly told her she “looked like a dick” after a spray tan during the 2009 series. The comments resurfaced this week.
Anton apologized to Laila at the time, admitting that he felt “stupid” and “embarrassed” by his comments to the actress. The pair made up a few weeks later.
On Saturday, Anton arrived casually dressed at Venue Cymru in Llandudno, North Wales, for his tour with 33-year-old former Strictly professional Giovanni Pernice.
Giovanni himself is currently suspended while a BBC research is ongoing about allegations of off-camera misconduct created by Amanda Abbington50, and two other former celebrity partners, with Anton supporting the dancer.

She said, ‘Hey everyone, I’m getting my revitalise infusion. I’ve been going for over two weeks now. ‘I’m completely exhausted, so this always gives me that spring in my step and helps me feel so much better’

It comes after Anton was seen for the first time since being dragged into the Strictly Come Dancing misconduct scandal on Saturday
In addition to Giovanni, 30-year-old professional dancer Graziano Di Prima was also removed from the show. He later apologized for hitting and kicking his famous partner Zara McDermott (27) during rehearsals last year.
Anton’s wife Hannah shared a touching message to Anton, alongside snaps of his six-year-old twins George and Henrietta.
She wrote: ‘Happy Birthday sweetheart Anton Du Beke George, Ra Ra and I couldn’t love you more and can’t wait to celebrate when we’re all together! We’ll be calling soon for a serenade… Get ready for grandma! Happy Birthday sweetheart. I love you. ‘
He reposted her message and wrote, “What a perfect message to start my birthday morning. Thank you @hannah_du_beke. Can’t wait to celebrate with you all on Monday. Love you all so much.”
Anton took part in the first series of the BBC dance programme in 2004.
