Strictly’s Katya shared a slew of beloved snaps when she first met fellow dancers Janette Manrara and Aljaz Skorjanec’s newborn daughter Lyra Rose on Saturday.
“The incision looks really good, I still feel a little bit of pain, of course I can’t do a lot of things, but the recovery is going so well.
Katya looked radiant as she joined the young family home, staring at baby Lyra Rose in her Moses’ basket before rocking her on the sofa.
The dancer also posed for a moment alongside her fellow Strictly stars before admitting how lucky she was to meet the bundle of joy.
Katya captioned the post, “You are so AMAZING Lyra Rose!”.

After Janette joined Stricly in 2013, she first became friends with Katya who first appeared on the series in 2016 and Aljaz left the show in 2022 after nine years.

It comes after Janette candidly discussed her C-section recovery three weeks after giving birth.
She shared a health update with her Instagram followers on Saturday, explaining that her post-surgery recovery is “going so well.”
Janette said, ‘Today it’s been 22 days since the surgery and I’ll be honest, I’ve been feeling so much more like myself especially this past week. I can finally go down the stairs normally and sleep on my side so I sleep better and I also have help to take care of Lyra.

“I think there was a moment where I thought: this is going to take forever, but luckily it isn’t and you just have to take it easy and day by day. Everyone’s recovery is completely different, but so far it’s going well and I’m feeling really good.’
She ended the clip by saying, “Just enjoying my love bubble with Lyra and being a mom.”
